At NRG Assessments, we are committed to helping homeowners improve their Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) and reduce energy consumption. With the growing emphasis on sustainability, many government backed grants and incentives are available in 2025 to assist homeowners in upgrading their properties' energy efficiency. These upgrades not only improve the comfort of your home but also reduce energy bills and contribute to the UK's net-zero goals.
In this blog, we’ll highlight the key grants and incentives for energy efficiency upgrades, including insulation, heat pumps, and other measures, and explain how you can take advantage of them.
1. Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS)
The Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) formerly known as ECO+ provides a unique opportunity for homeowners to upgrade their insulation without breaking the bank. This scheme is designed to reduce energy waste, save money on heating bills, and enhance the overall energy efficiency of your home.
